Roberts 93i BBC stations keep cutting out

  Laxto 21:47 12 May 2018

Hello, I have seen many people seem to have this problem or similar issues with the BBC streams. I have the latest firmware and I can tune in to the BBC stations but it takes a very long time. Then the sound keeps cutting out for different lengths of time. It is now 2018 and the problem won't go away! Has anybody any further suggestions - I will try a reset but from what others have said this does not seems to make a difference. Any suggestions will be very welcome.

As you say, you are not alone.

I'm afraid I can't give you much hope - I don't have an answer.

Use FM, it's better (a broader sound spectrum, more Hertz for your money), there's little 'lag' (well only microseconds, rather than 3 seconds) and it uses less power (by a factor of between 30% & 80%)

Laxto, while you are still working on a solution to your problem, I thought I might mention this text-based website I came across today which gives listings to some of the BEEB's radio stations. I think it's quite good. Apologies if you already know about it.
