I read somewhere prices from £500, hopefully this will push the current 10 series prices down

Could well do martd7 as dedicated PC gamers will want 'ray tracing' tech, whatever it means. Do next generation cards create a drop in prices with the 'older' cards immediately or does it take a while to happen?

I think it depends on how close to the price of the previous card is,if a 2070 tx is as rumoured about £500 then I can't see there being a big drop in prices considering the 1070 is at £380 it may take a while to filter down in price

Per-order prices are on the Nvidia website. From £569 just for the 2070, third party cards look even more expensive.

I bought an Evga GTX 1070ti just a couple of weeks ago for £417, I'm happy with that at 1440p.

Silly prices for a Graphics card in my opinion,at this rate may as well buy a PS4 for games, and use PC for everything else

No 2060 announced just the 2070 and 2080 cards

I haven't touched the graphics card on my PC for a while. I'm still running a 290X.

Nvidia seems to be the only way these days towards the high end as AMD do not seem competitive beyond the mid-range sector of the graphics industry.

I hold out hope that the next AMD release will do for the graphics industry what Ryzen did for the CPU industry but I doubt it.

Exactly as JayzTwoCents said.

I just checked the specs and the difference between the RTX 2000 series, I don't know what to say about ray tracing.
