Need help to see if this is the best build I can get and if I can do it cheaper and still have the same look.also wondering if there is a amd way of my build for much less. Budget is $2000 aus

to make sure their is no parts mismatch I would recommend you put your chosen componants into the build my pc section of a company that builds custom pc's.

I have a gtx 1080 and when I did my parts list the companies build checker said

650 watt psu was ample and that was taking into account 10% more than needed to allow for any sudden demand.

I have yet to find anything that makes the 1080 get even warm , I got it 2 years ago when it first came out and now the prices have gone down a lot.

DDR4 Ram and you should check on pcpartpicker for compatibility.
