We have just got in after the journey from hell, commonly called 'hitting the Edinburgh bypass at rush hour having driven back from the highlands behind every truck, tractor, caravan etc on narrow bendy roads.....
My head hurts, I shall go and lie down in a dark room with a wet flannel on my fevered brow'
Business as normal, hopefully, next week.
Answer
Now that I have chilled sufficiently I can relate that seeing the 14 E-Type (and 1 D-Type) Jaguars heading north on the
Round Britain Coastal Drive nearly compensated for it.
But a word of warning to anyone intending to drive the A720 Edinburgh city bypass around rush hour - DON'T DO IT !!
As part of the Round Britain Coastal Drive the Jaguars came round my part of the country. They came and went without my even knowing about it. I would have enjoyed seeing these fine cars. O well never mind next time perhaps.
