Advice regarding new HP laptop

Basically do I need to keep the invasive HP apps that are preinstalled. I can see how one or two could be useful, but can I lose the infernal Support Assistant and Jump Start. Also during set up I answered no to providing HP with data, but it seems they are still collecting it despite this. Would appreciate advise on what to remove to stop this. Many thanks

I don't know how old your computer is but Support Assistant might be useful as to the Spectre and Meltdown issue. Should point to a UEFI flash needed. Up to you really as you could do a fresh install and get the drivers/firmware from the HP site.
